These safety lifting handles have a simple and secure quick release mechanism that allows the user to quickly attach the handles and move the block while it remains hot.
We offer this as an option rather than compromise the overal design by having them permanently attached.
If you do move block while still hot please take precautions to prevent others around picking it up while still hot

IKA to Heidolph adaptor plate Ref: 02-HON-0135
This adaptor plate simply fits over the smaller IKA hotplate and increases its diameter to the same size as the Heidolph hotplate.
It is not essential that these are used with the IKA hotplate and there is no performance gain by using them. The only benefit is that it helps you to centralise the blocks on your hotplate and provides a reassuringly secure feel.
Adaptors for all other styles and brands available by special order.
